Children's Theatre

The Missoula Children's Theatre came to town this week, and Bailey and Camden spent the week with rehearsals and then had the big performances last night. It is such a neat concept... for over 30 years this traveling theatre group goes all over the world to provide a theatre experience to kids. On Monday they have the auditions (thankfully the group of kids wanting to audition here was so small that no one was turned away). Tuesday through Friday are 4 hour rehearsals each day, and then on Saturday is the dress rehearsal along with 2 performances in the evening. It was fantastic - with a great lesson to boot! The Musical was called "Beauty Lou and the Country Beast" (a take off of Beauty and the Beast). The next week, the theatre group goes to a new town to do the entire thing again leaving many fun memories behind! I was definitely a very proud Momma!
