Bryan has a German Coworker who has been extremely kind to us. He has a super nice family who have introduced us to many people, and helped us find our way within the community. This weekend they invited us over last minute for an impromptu cookout. We had been to thier house before, but only for a short time in the winter. They have many farm animals, and my kids were in absolute Heaven! From afternoon to late evening, the kids were surrogate parents to baby bunnies. They would not let go and begged to bring them home! They saw wild baby chicks that lost there mom when they were only eggs...had been incubated... and now have an adoptive Mom (unbelievable to see that just like humans - a forever family can be formed). Two horses, baby sheep, bees, roosters, and hens - and a really cool dog kept us completely and utterly entertained. I think we were meant to be Farmers (O.K. I am kidding - she assured me - it was ALOT of work)! I told our friend that this was as good as Disneyworld in my children's eyes - and Camden yells out "are you kidding Mom - this is better than legoland!" Enough said!
