Life

It is funny how "life" takes over when your kids are involved in Sports and School. With 3 kids, that means 3 classes full of birthday invitations, sporting events, friends, translating EVERYTHING etc. After a year of controlling the schedule (last year when we homeschooled), this year has proven to be quite different. The huge benefit for me, is that the kids are a lot more self sufficient than I have experienced in years past. It is a big change from last year, when our lives were busy, yet much more self contained and flexible. Both ways are definitely good, and both ways are enjoyable! With 7 evenings in a week, 6 days are taken up with some sort of activity - the good thing is we don't have to travel very far, and the kids have most of their afternoon off to "enjoy" the day - so it seems a lot less stressful than it was when they got home at 3:30, and had to dash right back out.

I wanted post a few pictures. The one of Mia is funny, because she went to get a filling at the dentist (no novicane), and ended up falling asleep ! The one of Camden is him sitting in our new Hammock - it was a gift from our Brazillian friends from their trip home (they told us that hammocks are a very common fixture Brazilian homes - we LOVE it). The one of Bailey was taken at her Cheerleading practice. She just started Cheerleading this year, and really really seems to enjoy it.
