They say when you get older, time goes by more quickly. I am still trying to figure out what happened to the summer? It is October, and time has been flying by! Bryan was on travel for several weeks over the last few months, and that may have played part of it -but truly where has the time gone? We are thick into Fall now, with Winter looming around the corner. I am expecting to see snowflakes in the not so distant future...
We did have a few fun activities in the last few weeks that I wanted to write about. While Bryan was gone, I took the kids to an Onion Festival. It doesn't sound that exciting, but we had a lot of fun. The highlight for the kids was getting to ride on a real backhoe and direct the bucket to move sand (only in Germany would kids get to operate heavy equipment with a teenage boy monitoring and no signing your life away :-). Bailey and Camden are a tad old, but thought it was really fun to.
The girls and I went on a hike to our favorite church that sits on top of a small mountain. We went a new way, and were thrilled to see cows greeting us half way. We ended up just watching them for a long time, and enjoyed seeing how they spend their time :-).
Bryan took Camden to the Nuremburg Zoo. They were literally there from open to close, and had a great time.
We won't have too many more photos with greenery and flowers in the Background - Winter is coming!!!!

My favorites in the right order. ha. A few trees are beginning to get some color. Just wish the color stayed a bit longer. love to all, gp
