Yesterday was Mia's 5th Birthday! It is so hard to believe that our "baby" is now 5! If she was back in Georgia, she would be starting Kindergarten next year in real school - so hard to believe! Mia was anticipating her Birthday with tremendous happiness, and had a great day! She had lots of attention in the morning from her Brother and Sister, and then a special day at Kindergarten with many German (or atleast Kindergarten traditions), I walked to pick her up from school, and we went out for icecream. She had Gymnastics last night, but was thrilled to have been moved up to the 5 year old group with her friends who have turned 5 already. A few gifts (always thrilling), and brownies and candles - a great overall 5th Birthday! Her actual Party is on Thursday, but it is just a very small one with family and one friend. What a blessing Mia is to all of us - Happy Birthday Sweet Girl!!!!

Being five is soooo special. You can do so many things. Wish you lived a little closer so I could spank you six times. ha. ha. Your mom will explain that one.
