Zeppelin Field

Although it is definitely not looked upon as a positive historical part of Germany, Zeppelin field is part of history and with it being so close, we wanted to go see it and show the kids what they will learn more about one day in school. Zeppelin field is in Nuremburg and was the sight for Hitler's famous Nazi Rallies. It was quite eery to stand on the podium where he once stood and to look out where thousands and thousands of people were there supporting him. You could almost hear the intensity of the crowd. It was quite sobering. It is fascinating too because it not something easily found in tourist books or talked about as a local tourist attraction. The stadium appears to have been pretty much left to fall apart. It is something that people want to forget, however I felt it was important to remember also.

LOOKS LIKE ANOTHER FUN WEEKEND!!!
Bailey, I like your outfit. (HAHA)
The picture of the kids running up the stairs looks very similar to the Fall we are having here - the leaves are more beautiful than they have been in years!!
Love and miss you guys.

totally agree that it can't be forgotten and therefore must be visited.
