We had a fun weekend at Bailey's Basketball Finals this weekend. She played this season for the American base. Only 8 teams earned a spot to participate, including 3 teams from Italy. For us, it was nice because Bamberg hosted (which meant no 8 hour drive :-)). Her team did great, and even though they lost the final game in the nail biting last seconds, they played like a true team. I was quite proud of them for their 2nd place finish overall. To give them credit, they had to play the final game immediately after playing the semifinal game (with no lunch break) - so if they were 100%, they may have won. My heart has a hard time at these games (I get way too involved). It was a fantastic season though, with a great team. Bailey - we are super proud of you!
