We are moving....

It has been just over 2 months since we found out that we would be uprouting our lives and moving overseas to Germany for 3 years! In that time, we have shipped our car, packed up our house, finished school, traveled to Pensacola, rented out our house, taken 2 classes, moved into a hotel for 10 days, said our goodbyes and flown to Maine. Needless to say it has been a busy summer. We are so excited about moving to Germany and wanted to begin a blog to help record some of our adventures while we are over there.

We are moving to Germany for Bryan's job and will be coming back to Georgia after 3 years. Bamberg, Germany (which you can read all about here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bamberg ) will be our home for the next few years and being that it is centrally located we hope to explore much of Europe during our stay.

Bryan flies out this week and the kids and I will join him at the end of the month. In the mean time we are enjoying our annual summer vacation up in Maine. Life has been quite crazy and to have some time in "vacationland" is just what we needed!
