Staying....

I haven't mentioned it it on here before, because secretly we didn't want it to happen, but movers were supposed to be coming next week to pack us up to move to Belgium. Yes, in just 5 short days, our time that we have come to love here, would have come to an abrupt halt. We have known about this move for several months, and with just about one day to spare, another opportunity came up for Bryan that is allowing us to stay here in Bamberg for a few more years. I make it seem like it just "popped up", but Bryan has worked really hard to make everything work out for us, and I am beyond grateful - we all are! We just weren't ready to leave yet. Of course, if we had to go, we would have made the best of it, but we just did not want to leave. The only good thing about moving, is that the kids would have had only 5 more days of school, but instead, they now have 6 weeks more! We have had A LOT going on lately with the kids activities, vacation, my parents visiting, an upcoming move, traveling, and we are also buying a very small apartment here (in another language, with foreign banks and currency - it just adds to the fun). We have truly fallen in love with this town, and want it to be part of our lives forever. I haven't posted too much lately, but wanted to give a quick update... We are staying!
