Florence

Florence was the center of Italian Renaissance in the 1400's. It is the home to Michelangelo's famous sculpture of David, as well as oodles of other sculptures, painting, and architectural masterpieces. Of course with 3 kids to consider, our appreciation for all of this was a bit limited, but we did enjoy walking around and taking in the sites. Camden was entertained by guiding us with the map, Bailey enjoyed taking pictures, and Mia is always a trooper and enjoyed the little things.  It was also fun, because we happened upon a huge running race in the city (I think there must have been at least 10,000 participants) - fun to see!
