Italy

The kids are off from school for 2 weeks for the Pfingsten (Pentecost) Holiday. Last week, we drove down with my parents to the Tuscany Region of Italy. On the way down, we stopped in Verona, and then went to Florence, Siena, Pisa, and Cinque Terre. Siena and Cinque Terre were by far our favorites - truly beautiful!!! Siena reminded us of the Italian version of Bamberg - quaint and medieval. The only requirement from the kids was a daily gelato stop, and they did great practicing their 2 Italian words (grazi and prego). A fun trip!
