This weekend, while Camden and his friends took off on their bikes (with adult supervision) to see the movie "Rio in 3-D", Mia, Bailey, Bryan and I headed out on our bikes to what we consider to be the ultimate in Serenity - the Spezial Bier Keller. (O.K. so it may not be the ultimate in Serenity for the kids, but they do enjoy it because of the pretzels, ice cream and playground). This is probably the 5th time I've written about this bier garten, but for some reason we just love it. It is a hike up to the top of one of the prettiest hills that overlooks Bamberg. The sun beams down, the fest tables are full, and people are simply - HAPPY. For an hour or two, time stands still, and it is perfect. It is the ultimate way to spend any afternoon, but of course being our first visit of the Season, it was especially fun.
