Barcelona

My friend from London invited me to celebrate her 40th birthday with a bunch of girls in Barcelona this past weekend. I left last Thursday, spent the weekend there, and had such a relaxing time with no worries. We did a little sightseeing, but mostly just enjoyed the warm weather - sitting in cafes and having good conversation (in English :-)). It was really neat too because there were so many country origins represented within her group of friends (German, British, South African, Czech, Slovakian, American, Indian etc.). It was a fantastic weekend. The best part of all was coming home to a loving family who survived without me, but definitely showed me the warmest welcome home that I could have wished for!
