Our First Adventure!

O.K, so we are living in Europe and where do you think we go for our first adventure? Venice, Paris, Barcelona, Rome? Nope - Instead we head to LEGOLAND! When we were in California last summer, we all went to Legoland and had such a fun time (my kids like this place better than Disney or Universal Studios), so as a reward for being such great troopers these last couple of months, we promised them Legoland! It was a great day! The park is geared towards kids 12 and under, and they even have many rides and activities Mia's age. The highlight for the kids was when Bailey and Camden received their Legoland licensce (after a 15 minute driving course in German and then a 15 minute road test, they actually got a real laminated I.D.with a picture), Little Mia also took to the road and even though it was touch and go for a while, she recieved her license too! (She actually had all of the Germans watching in histarics because she kept running into walls and getting stuck, but having so much fun! The rides are so different in contrast to typical American theme park rides and really neat. One amusing thing was that, unlike the park in California, here families can bring big coolers filled with food into the park for the day - they can even bring in Beer! I have posted pictures - including the kids' drivers liscence. It was a day that they well deserved and when we went to bed last night Mia came up to me and said in her sweet little voice, "thank you for taking me to LegoLand", which completetly melted my heart!
