Everyone knows that Germany is known for it's beer. Bamberg in particular is known for its beer because of it's TEN Breweries. We have been told that it has more Breweries than any other city in the world! It is fascinating to see what an important aspect Beer is in this Country. The Germans that Bryan works with have it written into their American Work Contracts that they are allowed to drink Beer during their lunch break (of course that is a total violation for the Americans). In our hotel, you can buy beer out of the soda machine! When we eat out at a restaurant, it is cheaper to buy beer than to buy a coke! There are also pubs on just about every street corner. So you know what they say....do as the locals do (just kidding). It is just a part of everyday life and they seem to have very little problems as a result. Very Interesting! Growing up, back in Puerto Rico, it was quite easy for teenagers (16-18) to buy alcohol. Parents were also more relaxed about letting you try a sip of their beer if you wanted to. So for me, my brothers, and my friends, it wasn't a big deal to drink by the time we were old enough to legally do it.
It's about time you got around to some good stuff!
