This is Bailey ! Wow, I haven't written a blog in a long time . On Saturday, my friend Kim asked me if i wanted to go with her and her family sledding . I packed my bags with everything I would need - Ski pants, Boots, Gloves, Hat, Scarf, and all that good stuff . It took about an hour to get there , but the hour went pretty fast. Once we got there, there was nothing but snow ! As soon as we got there, we took our sleds and went down the mountain . Now, as you know, Germans tend to be a bit crazy, so as we are sliding down the mountain, we didn't really have very much control of the sled . You know how when you are driving up a mountain there will be a railing to keep you from falling down the steep side? Well , there were none of those . We almost fell down a few times, but thankfully Kim and I "controlled" the sled. Once we got to the bottom , there was a bus that came about every ten minutes to pick us up . Her parents decided to walk up the hill, but the kids rode the bus up . When we were almost at the top , there was some traffic . When we turned the corner, we saw a car had slipped on the ice, and it was upside down - Not the best feeling considering that could have easily been us . We got through it thankfully . We went down the mountain one more time, and took the bus up with their dad this time (their mom had stayed up and gotten some hot tea:) ). Later, we discovered there was another sledding hill, under a bridge, and then on a path past a hotel . It was only a few minutes walk . So, being German, Kim decided we were going to climb the snow, which went all the way up to the top of the bridge, and then we crossed the highway, and slid down the other side . Thankfully, we didn't die . (: We finally got to the other hill after sliding down the side of a bridge for about 10 minutes - it actually was really fun! . On the hill , they had snow tubing, skiing, snowboarding etc. We had a really fun time!
