Crossing the English Channel with our Van, just sounded fun to me. Bryan and the kids were not quite as taken by it, but I could just envision the centuries of kings and explorers crossing the same waters from "the continent" to the UK. The Normans, The Saxons, and now the Rhodes :-). Just kidding :-) I also looked forward to seeing the White Cliffs of Dover on our approach to England - very pretty! It was a super easy and quick trip. The hardest part was getting off the ferry boat, and having to drive on the "wrong side of the Road." Once we got used to it though, it wasn't so bad. We stayed in a timeshare exchange near Canterbury for the week, but then also stayed with our friend who lives in London for a night. She was super kind to host an extra 5 people, and showed us a great time too.
