Bundesliga - Super Cool!!!

On Sunday, Camden's soccer team had a really cool opportunity - they were able to walk out on the field with one of the professional fussball (soccer) teams here in Germany. The team, Greuther Furth, is ranked 4th in the Bundesliga 2. The kids got to meet the players, have photos taken, they received t-shirts, and walked out on the field at the beginning of the game. For Camden, he may as well have been at the World Cup - he was that excited! His teammates usually take turns being Captain (the honor also means you have to wash the team uniform that week :-)), and it just so happened that Camden was Captain that day, so he was able to walk out at the front of the line with their Team Captain (and as a present for me, there was no laundry to be done because they only watched, and did not play :-). The team tied with Bochum, who is now ranked 2nd. After the game, his entire team went to the brewery/restaurant that sponsors his team for a true German Dinner. It was a perfect day - definitely something to remember.
