We have definitely been keeping busy! Work, school, work, school, work.... We have managed to have a little fun though. At the beginning of November we celebrated a wonderful Milestone - Bailey's 11th Birthday. We had a quiet celebration at home, and Bailey was thrilled to celebrate the big occasion (as we all were). It really is hard to believe that she is 11. We were talking in the car today, and were thinking about the outrageous thought of being here in 5 years and Bailey being old enough to legally drink! Too much to think about at this early age! I have been teaching 7th and 8th graders all Semester and it amazes me that Bailey is only 2 years away from that - again too much to think about at this early age! She really is a great girl though and we are so blessed to have her as a daughter!
Last weekend, in celebration of Bryan's birthday, we went for a hike in the Forest (I always think it is cute to call it a forest, it reminds me of a fairytale or something, but that is the german translation for "woods" I guess). Like always, we are always blown away with what Bamberg has to offer. Such a beautiful place! We also enjoyed Bryan's favorite food all day (Schnitzel's and Doners), and were going to go out for Ice Cream, but found out that all three of our favorite ice cream shops were closed until FEBRUARY!!! We go out for Ice Cream ALOT, and this is seriously going to put a damper on things - maybe they are trying to tell us something :-). It was a really nice day though, and Bryan had a great Birthday.

Wow: you guys look like a real German family with the walking sticks and all. However, tell Bryan I'll bring my chain saw with me when I come next spring so he can whittle down a reasonably sized walking stick.
