Fussball - A serious business!!!!

Bailey has decided that she wants to play fusball (soccer). There are several girls teams around, and luckily one is right next to the town that Camden plays in - with one car, it is super convenient. She has been practicing with the girls for about a month and seems to really enjoy it. (Secretly, I love it too because it helps her keep up her German :-)). She enjoys it enough that she wants to join the team. I think I have mentioned before that soccer is a year round port here, so it is definitely a commitment. In order to join a German team, it is serious business. Camden already has done the paperwork process, but now it begins for Bailey. The paperwork has nothing to do with liability, but instead, it has everything to do with clubs. When you join a fusball team, you are only to play on their team, unless they "release" you to play on another team. If you are super good, it may be difficult to get released. Soccer is a National past time, and they take it seriously. Basically, the way I understand it, is that even the young kids are on a young version of the professional "Bundes league."  It is comical in a way, because Bailey must wait to get her special card in order to play (she is allowed to practice with the team though, until her official number comes). The teams are all organized by Birth years. The "business" of fusball has nothing to do with money, because it is virtually free to play on a German team. "The Business" instead is all about "membership." It is really interesting!!!!
