Yesterday, we drove to Ronda, which is nestled about 1 hour north of the Mediteranian Sea, right in the middle of a mountain range. It is quite the drive getting there (straight up the mountain, with hairpin turns). It was the first time that we discovered that Mia has a queezy stomach for curvy car rides :-( . Ronda is known for its enormous gorge that is bound together by a small bridge - unbelievably breathtaking! It is also known for having the oldest bull fighting ring in Spain. It is a beautiful town, and feels much more like "real Spain" than the area that we are staying in (Marbella is much more commercialized). Although it was less than perfect weather, we enjoyed walking around, and the 365 degree views of this gorgeous area. On the way up/down the mountain, we saw heards of sheep, and wild goats - which was really neat too.
