We are visiting Paris this week with my Mom and Dad. We arrived Sunday and the weather has been gorgeous - much better than the last time we came in January. They say that Paris is best to see in the Springtime and I can definitely see why. One VERY interesting thing that we have noticed and heard about on the TV is the lack of Airplanes flying over head. With major airports all around, this area is usually filled with air traffic - but NOTHING is in sight. We have met a few stranded travelers who we feel quite sorry for. We were even watching the BBC and saw Bailey's friend from school on the television stranded in England - too funny to see her, but sad that she is stuck there! It reminds us of how we rely so much on some things (airplanes, technology etc.)
