After Berlin, we drove down to Dresden which was part of the former East Germany. At the end of the War, the city was almost completely destroyed, so oddly enough the "old city" is newer than the "new city" (most German cities have an old city and a new city). It is beautiful town that sits on the Elbe River. It is quite a bit bigger than Bamberg with lots of historic sites and shopping. Camden proudly wore his new hat from Berlin, and we got quite a few stares :-) Camden and Mia had some special bonding time, just the two of them, and especially liked the swimming pool in the hotel!
