Kotor, Montenegro

Gorgeous !!

Beautiful Island Church

Boats that had gone over the edge of the Sea and into a swimming pool - kind of funny...

We loved walking on the old streets

An old church - it was sectioned off for an archaeological dig

A little creepy to see bones sticking out of the bag during the archaeological dig

stunning views!!

Mia along the moat wall

I Love these girls!!!

Reminded me a little of a house you might see in Maine

"The great Wall" - very similar to that in China
Montenegro was also part of the former Yugoslavia, and borders Serbia and Kosovo. It has just recently opened its doors to tourism, after many years of War. Kotor was our second favorite stop. It is a beautiful old city built on the side of a mountain, right on the Sea. In order to get there, our ship had to meander through fjords that were breathtaking. Truly a gorgeous place!!!
